Industry Assessor Participation & Independence
At MockBridge, we value the experience and professional perspectives that industry professionals bring to candidate assessment. Our Industry Assessor Network is designed to enable eligible professionals to contribute their expertise through voluntary, assignment-based engagements.
We recognise that our assessors may have ongoing professional commitments with other organisations. We therefore place importance on professional independence, confidentiality, ethical conduct and respect for each assessor’s existing obligations.
1. Voluntary, Assignment-Based Participation
Participation in the MockBridge Industry Assessor Network is voluntary. Assessors may review individual opportunities and independently decide whether to accept or decline an assignment.
MockBridge does not require assessors to accept a minimum number of assignments or maintain fixed working hours. There is no guaranteed volume of work or fixed monthly remuneration. Fees are agreed for individual assignments and are payable in accordance with the applicable engagement terms.
2. Respect for Existing Employment Obligations
Assessors are responsible for reviewing and complying with the employment terms, professional codes, internal policies and other obligations applicable to them.
Where prior approval, disclosure or other authorisation is required from an employer or relevant authority, the assessor must obtain it before undertaking the relevant assignment.
MockBridge expects assessors to accept only those assignments they are permitted to undertake. An assignment must not be accepted where doing so would breach an existing contractual, legal or professional obligation.
3. Professional Independence and Conflicts of Interest
MockBridge expects every assessor to exercise independent professional judgement and to identify potential conflicts of interest before accepting an assignment.
Assessors must disclose relevant conflicts and decline or discontinue assignments where the conflict cannot be appropriately addressed.
Assessment feedback should reflect the assessor’s genuine professional judgement and the agreed assessment framework, rather than any personal, commercial or organisational interest.
4. Confidentiality and Responsible Conduct
Assessors must protect confidential information belonging to their employers, clients, MockBridge and candidates.
No assignment should involve the unauthorised disclosure or use of proprietary information, internal documents, trade secrets, non-public business information or other protected material.
Assessors must use their own appropriate time, devices and accounts for MockBridge assignments, unless an alternative arrangement is expressly authorised. Employer resources, confidential data or work time must not be used without appropriate authorisation.
5. Independence from Employers
Unless expressly authorised, an assessor participates in an individual professional capacity. Registration with or participation in MockBridge does not imply that the assessor’s employer sponsors, endorses, authorises or is affiliated with MockBridge.
References to an assessor’s professional experience, qualifications or current designation are intended to describe their background, not to represent the views or endorsement of their employer.
The use of an assessor’s name, photograph, biography or professional details in public communications is subject to the applicable consent and publication arrangements.
6. Professional Profile and Privacy
MockBridge respects an assessor’s choice regarding public visibility. Registration in the Industry Assessor Network does not automatically mean that the assessor’s profile will be published on the MockBridge website or social media.
Any public profile or promotional use of personal or professional details will be handled in accordance with the relevant consent, privacy notice and applicable legal requirements.
7. Assignment Acceptance and Responsibility
Before accepting an assignment, assessors should review its scope, expected deliverables, fee, timeline and any relevant conditions. Assessors may decline opportunities that do not align with their expertise, availability, professional obligations or personal preferences.
MockBridge expects assessors to provide fair, constructive and professional assessments, maintain appropriate boundaries and comply with the terms agreed for each assignment.
8. Our Commitment
MockBridge is committed to building a professional assessment network based on trust, independence, confidentiality and responsible participation.
We aim to respect the professional commitments of our assessors while providing candidates and institutions with structured assessments informed by practical industry experience.
Important Clarification
This page describes MockBridge’s participation principles. It does not replace an assessor’s employment contract, employer policies, individual consent requirements or the applicable Independent Assessor Agreement.
